Family –

I am a proud and happy Husband, Father of 3 and now Grandfather of 1.  I have 2 grown children (Brian and Annalynn) and my son Josh is nearly 17 and a Junior in High School.  My daughter had her first child, Mila and she is the sweetest little girl and new love of my life.

We are a dog family and we currently have 3 small dogs, mostly dachshunds.  We’ve foster dogs before but now it’s just our 3 4-leggers and us.

Ministry/Calling –

I have always had a passion for God and his work in and out of the church.  I love children and teaching as my Major at Ball State U was early childhood education.  As long as I can remember I’ve always taught Sunday School for children and worked in VBS events.  That has grown into a life-long ministry for me and I now teach our children here at YCON on Sunday morning, Sunday evenings and on Wednesdays.

Music has also been a large part of my life as I’ve sung in choirs growing up and in the Praise Team in my church.  I sing with the Team and play Bass and love every moment that I get to sing.  My wife Wendy and I have sung together for many, many years.

Passions –

I am passionate about few things, but those that I am I devote most of my time to.  As stated above I love children, music and helping others.  I’ve been part of my mission trips both local and far away.  We all have the ability to help others, and I feel a deep sense or responsibility to help those in need.

I’ve recently started a Firewood ministry last year and provide free – dried firewood for those in need who either can’t afford it or for those who have no means to gather this wood on their own.  These families heat their homes with wood as a primary and usually only heat source through the fall and winter months.  I have been blessed with the ability and means to gather firewood nearly year-round and a place it can be stored and dried.  I want to give back what God has blessed me with and this is one unique way to do this.

I enjoy fishing, golfing, camping and almost any outdoor activity.  I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family even if it’s just a walk in the park.
